Records: Missing Flint police guns used in crimes around state
FLINT (AP) -- Police records say poor record keeping, break-ins and questionable gun storage practices allowed firearms to go missing from the Flint police department.
The Flint Journal reports records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act say several of the guns were used in crimes around Michigan.
The Flint Police Department conducted a full inventory of its firearms this year. During the inventory, officers were unable to locate 22 guns in addition to 17 earlier reported stolen and unaccounted for, covering a period from 1996 until the present.

I would hazard a guess that you would do so, if you were a Flint cop.
You really need to think this through, with out the hatred.

(1,713 posts)when you can "testilie" and get away with it every time, details like that never see the light of day
I'll believe there are good cops when they start arresting the bad ones.

Maybe a tragedy of the commons?
