I really haven't ever come in contact with them but they just strike me as so annoying I don't see why I should even bother being annoyed by them.

It isn't like we can feel it, or see it, you just lose a reader....on a large site.
It's weird.
I have no one on ignore--yet. But if I do, why would I tell them. They don't care.
It is the internet, it's not like we have to eat lunch together in the break room.

Every last one of the people we regularly debate with are kind gentle courteous respectful individuals by comparison, even those blocked from this group.

(20 posts)...I will ever put anyone on ignore. However, I have always found it very ironic on a "democratic", "liberal" website some people are so very close-minded and "intolerant" of views with which they disagree, they put people on ignore.

(2,493 posts)So don't have anyone on ignore. Although today Valerie something or other posted that she put me on ignore "forever," so I've got that going for me. I don't get the ignore thing -- if someone attacks me personally multiple times then maybe I'd put them on ignore, but not because they have a viewpoint I disagree with. This country was founded by people who disagree but reached consensus, and is run by two parties who disagree but still get things done (sometimes). Simply ignoring opposing viewpoints -- which is something the Tea Party promotes -- just ensures nothing gets accomplished.

Discuss gun politics, gun control laws, the Second Amendment, the use of firearms for self-defense, and the use of firearms to commit crime and violence.
This should be deleted.
Take it to the Lounge.

(6,185 posts)He keeps trying to go on a gun control rant in the "Drone Thread" and even the usual suspects are telling him he's off his rocker. And even a few gun control supporters saying they'd take a shotgun to a drone peeping tom too.
Not one post supporting his usual "ammosexual" crapola.

At this rate he'll be on vacation again soon. Didn't seem to learn anything from his last "trip".

(49,445 posts)This is not within the scope of the Group's SoP for original posts. The Lounge would be a more appropriate place for this.
