I'm actually starting to think that the anti-gun folks actually DO believe themselves to be some special class of citizen.

Observe how they behave.

23. Wow! Why should my Department be stripped of all public funding?

Then your department should be stripped of all public funding.

That would destroy the entire Math Department.

All of our funding is public here. We're a State University.

24. If you violate the law and deny students their rights you should forfeit public funding.

Just the same as a professor who violates civil rights law because he didn't approve of a students gender, religion of skin color. If you disapprove of who we are as people you can stop taking our money.

If the faculty follows the law and teaches the courses the are being PAID to teach using public money, nothing would be affected in education. You seem to want destroy it by not following the law and denying the rights of the students.

Is someone blackmailing them with a firearm?
If so, then they need to call the cops.

If Texas law allows CCW on campus and in classrooms, then the faculty has NO LEGAL means to prevent students, faculty and other university employees from exercising their RIGHT under Texas law.

......why are you publishing the names of staff/instructors that they (allegedly) would go after?

Pick a story and stick with it SS.

Most egregious display of wasted bandwidth I've ever witnessed.

Should these Professors cower in fear, instead of standing up for their rights?

They are public employees trying to prevent people from exercising a right protected by the Constitution, in this case what John Locke called a natural right. That makes them no different than her.

Even homophobes have rights.

You don't get to shoot people just because you disagree with them.

And that includes Kim Davis.

but I think you knew that. These teachers are acting like Kim Davis. But at least Kim Davis wouldn't take their money either. These teachers are taking the students' money and then not providing the service.

And yet, every call for gun confiscation by the grabbers who cannot muster a single, civil word of dialogue invariably devolves to --

Especially not on the public's dime.

While you're here, I've got a research question for you, Stoney:

Washington State, Utah, and Alaska allow CCW holders to legally carry on state college
campuses, and have for years.

Since you're so *very* sure that this practice poses a deadly threat to college instructors,
would you be so kind as to post those instances where a CCW holder shot a teacher
in a college in those states?
