Three talking points from the NRA’s major convention in Louisville

Several local politicians threw their weight behind the Second Amendment Friday at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Louisville.

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and U.S. Sen. Rand Paul spoke as part of the gun-advocacy and sportsmen organization’s Leadership Forum, held in the red, white and blue-lit Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also spoke Friday and received the NRA’s endorsement, as we’ve previously reported.

Here are highlights from the event:

Press releases, entire speeches, major summaries. It's just like being there.

Since he doesn't say anything about his cut and paste posts, he must be proud of them and wants to make sure their message gets out.
