Booby trap connected to shotgun lands Louisville man in jail

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A booby trap connected to a shotgun has landed a Louisville man behind bars.

56-year-old James Fieldon was arrested Saturday after LMPD officers went to his home on Zorn Avenue to serve a citation.

When police arrived, they say Fieldon began trying to disarm the booby trap at his front door, that was positioned to shoot any possible intruders.

During the process, the shotgun went off.
