Iowa Amendment 1-
adding a right to own and bear firearms to the Iowa Constitution and require strict scrutiny for any alleged violations of the right brought before a court.
PASSED 65.13% to 34.87%

Oregon measure 114-
require permits issued by local law enforcement to buy a firearm;
require photo ID, fingerprints, safety training, criminal background check, and fee payment to apply for a permit;
and prohibit manufacturing, importing, purchasing, selling, possessing, using, or transferring ammunition magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds and make violations a class A misdemeanor.
PASSED 50.38% to 49.62%
