Remember friends; just because you're home doesn't mean people respect your right to live in peace.

1. You never ever know when a gun will save your life or that of a family member

Even sitting in your own home, bothering no one, watching TV.

2. He had a right to defend his wife against that much younger man, but not with a gun!

And yes, I read the story and know he tried to use physical force, but unsuccessfully.

Obviously, he should have never have resorted to a gun. Better to sacrifice his wife and himself. Reckless cowboys like this yahoo having access to guns is why America isn't approved by the cool kids--Europe, Canada, Japan and New Zealand. They're civilized and know that it's better for an old man to watch his wife take whatever a 20 something young man feels like dishing out than to resort to using a GUN!

He should be imprisoned for murder, shooting that fine young man like that!

Unfortunately, too few Americans are enlightened enough to see it.

At least we do, right, ellisonz?

7. The most likely place to need a gun is in your home, not walking around in public with dang thing.

Living without a gun at home is laudable too -- but, the home is pretty much the place for guns if anywhere. Then again, their are a lot of dead spouses and children because of guns.
