Related: About this forumKurt Eichenwald vs. Jesse Watters & Fox Neus
http://www.rawstory.com/2018/01/i-wont-be-the-next-george-tiller-writer-eichenwald-rips-fox-host-over-slanderous-report-leading-to-death-threats/I read this article and am wondering if there will (finally) be push back against right-wing media attacks on people/entities they deem enemies. The article describes actions that Eichenwald has been taking that have the uncanny feel of laying the legal groundwork (aka "paper trail" for a significant lawsuit with major media impact.
Any thoughts, or am I letting my battered hopes get the best of me?

(17,266 posts)1. Oh, I hope he does bring a lawsuit against the idiot and the entire organization.
Thanks for posting this story.

(1,714 posts)2. What did
Watters say? I (obviously) never watch his show. When he says something that is slanderous, the victim should fight back--but I'm sure interested to know what it was.

I gather that there have been several exchanges and that Eichenwald apparently was hurt by a Fox viewer last year.

(2,577 posts)5. Eichenwald described his ongoing harassment from Faux on AM Joy Sunday
I can't remember which segment--sorry. He has been harassed on air by Tucker Carlson and has been the victim of a long line of attacks including death threats to him and his family. Many are anti-Semitic because his last name sounds Jewish. Nice. Eichenwald has posted much of what has been happening to him and his family on Twitter.
It sure sounds like there will be a major lawsuit.
