I know a lot of people have a problem with him now, but he's making some points in this video. We have to be able to show government can work.

It should be an embarrassment that Mississippi kids are better at reading than kids in California, given that Mississippi things "book learning"communist plot

It should also be an embarrassment that Texas is performing better at alternative energy given that no politician in Texas actually thinks climate change is real.

A person can cherry pick facts to advance any agenda. Those facts are true. So what? It is Maher's smug "both sides do it" agenda I object to. I don't think much of his comedy, either. I think he is an insufferable asshole, truth be told.
