RIGHT.

She was part of a mob of THOUSANDS breaking down doors, with Capitol police telling them to STOP.

A mob whose intent was to HANG PENCE and kill other members of Congress to interfere with a fair election. A mob who KILLED a policeman with a fire extinguisher.

He bought a pack of cigarettes with a bad bill after entering the store peacefully.

When the clerk confronted him, he didn't fight or hurt the man. He didn't go back and break into the store. He sat in his car feeling horrible. Police dragged him out of his car. He had a panic attack and resisted being put into the back of a squad car. THEY COULD have done everything EXCEPT PUT A KNEE ON HIS NECK and he would have lived.

MAYBE ASHLI was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got shot, but she went there of her own accord. She was angry and intent on keeping Biden and Harris OUT of office.

YES. George Floyd did have one conviction in Houston. Served his time. Got involved in a local ministry, Resurrection Houston, turned his life around and moved to Minnesota to start a new life.

HE went to his local grocery store and made a mistake.

BUT TO THE PROUD BOYS the only thing that matters is that SHE WAS WHITE and GEORGE was BLACK.

BUT Officer Sicknick WAS a Patriot serving his county and doing his job to defend it.

SHE was a lemming following QAnon garbage.

One need not agree with their interpretation of these values or the impact that they claim these values ought to have (though I do) to recognize that the BLM project is one that seeks to perfect the American project by demanding that our shared values are made manifest for all. BLM demands that America lives up to its aspirations.

My thot:
CONTRAST

The same cannot be said for those who stormed the Capitol building on Jan. 6. In fact, despite their rhetorical appeals to 1776 and their ostensive belief in the patriotic nature of their actions, the fact that the flags they flew were dominated by Trump campaign flags and included Confederate flags and banners of white supremacist gangs should be indication enough of where their loyalties lie.

The 14-year Air Force vet was prosecuted under her previous last name of McEntree, according to court documents from Calvert County, Md., where she lived at the time.

The Maryland public court records show police found probable cause for the string of charges, which are not described but were somehow connected to a “traffic case,” the records show.

Two restraining orders had also been issued at the time, but appear to be separate from the criminal case.

In February 2017, another restraining order was issued against Babbitt, according to court records. No reason is given in the court records for any of the restraining orders.

stupidity and open hate people like these have adopted is truly dispiriting. Ashli Babbitt made her choice and paid trump by offering up her life as a bloody human sacrifice on the altar of the trump cult. Proud Boys? Brownshirts 2.0. I truly hope to see their demise...

I can't recall the actual number of times I have seen right-wingers post that phrase in discussions of shootings by the Police. For some reason that doesn't seem to apply in this case.
