FORT HOOD — Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center announced Thursday it will add a sexual assault medical forensic exam program Monday.
Tricare beneficiaries seeking medical assistance following a sexual assault can receive care at Darnall’s Emergency Department instead of traveling to Baylor Scott & White in Temple.
The release stated that law enforcement officials should bring Tricare beneficiaries ages 14 and older who may have been sexually assaulted to Darnall.
McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White in Temple will continue to provide care for younger patients.
