But the anti Hillary people dont care about what really matters, do they.
Anyway, what really matters is how stupidly things are still done.

(17,493 posts)they are unreliable. Replacing such systems with more modern systems might actually cause more problems than the older systems that have been thoughly tested.
The government most likely has warehouses filled with spare parts to repair the systems. The biggest problem is to find technicians to do the work on such old equipment.
It's somewhat like the old rotary dial telephones. If all you want to do is call someone and talk to them they still work fine. They even work during a power outage.

If the missiles fail to fire, when needed, we can blame the floppy disks.....or we can spend a couple trillion upgrading the system
