At our work veterans will hang pictures on info board when they were in service.
For Veterans Day vets put up pics I never do because I never served in war. Yet the info board is also for union business.This morning leaving work I looked and this picture was friend Craig he’s 72 years old he will not retire take his pension reasons his wife passed and he’s lonely yet Craig is fine man and a awesome vet friend and union brother. I recognized who Craig was looking at pic from his tattoos looking at his photo today his tattoos they’re faded.
In pic he was in jungle fatigues just bottom in front of a fighting hole bunker no jungle blouse on scrawny bear chest wearing aviator sunglasses 18 or 19 year old grunt fighting hole dug in back of him and cut trees over fighting hole and soldier wearing headband with a M60 machine gun yea barrel pointing down on his jungle boot.
And next time I run into Craig I’ll ask him you in pic was thin , today you’re built like a potato joking.
