Now days a lot of the clothes in our stores are made in Vietnam, and American companies are building plants and hiring there. Shortly after I returned from Nam I realized that what we had been taught in school, and what our politicians had been telling us was primarily bullshit. The people of Vietnam were not our enemies, the domino theory was fiction, and nobody was benefiting from the war except the MIC and the politicians. This vet wishes the people of Vietnam all the best. I hope that they prosper and don't have to fight any more wars. It is a shame that we have not learned our lesson from that war. We are still sending troops overseas, and still fighting wars that are no benefit whatsoever to anyone in our country except the MIL and certain politicians.
