I met a keeper yesterday evening, A Great guy he turned out and graduated osut benning this past summer . He came to our sons thirteenth birthday party. As a date of a friend of our youngest daughter. I did not know he was National guard let alone a brother 11B. I announced to the other veterans guest fellas we have a keeper here. And I introduced him around and after cake was served and presents given to our son. We headed down stairs to the T.O.C. or sometimes referred to as the C.P. the back patio and family room. I lit a bonfire we started pouring beers ,and the bullshit started as in stories of military experiences. We had fine troopers in attendance,my great uncle a Korean War and Vietnam vet and sgt major a Vietnam vet, and Sam a cobra driver in Vietnam. And my nephew who is fourteen years active duty infantry who is recently married and he is finding out NCO stripes do not mean a dam thing to the new bride.
So Sam the cobra driver hands the young 11B a beer. Now he was hesitant because he is only 18 hey you do not have to drink I said to him. But he was cool after he found out we were not liquor control agents or graduates of liberty university . If you made benning well then you’re ok to drink with me. So then you get to the ass and trash Veterans at the party. Three guys I work with and me. One arty the rest of us graduates of University of Benning good old U Benn. Now this young 11B was asking my nephew and me about jump school as he wants to attend. I told him look if I can make jump school and then end up at Bragg anybody can do it. And I guess you can go active duty from National guard as he was asking my nephew about pre RANGER. then I told the guy my uncle here went thru jump school with the Roman legions. But as usual the conversation turned to well when I went thru Benning my one buddy started he is my age. You know the old bull why my drill sgts ate barbed wire and pissed napalm.
I had to interject and I threatened Robert ok you only had three beers iron mike check yourself and those lips. Or else I’ll march upstairs and tell your wife he got the joke. So the night went sideways real fast as in inebriation example Sam the former cobra driver at 70 years old. Would like to strap on another gunship and go after isis. My nephew who is a infantry NCO has discovered you do not run the dishwasher with out a full load and do not buy the cheap dishwasher pods , cuz the wife has to use two to get same results. Another cool thing is I guess this young 11B unit will start E.I.B. Program and I told him the reason I have mine is because of a fine E7who made us go thru E.I.B. Program I told him I would take advantage of it. So when my wife and the ladies were done playing bridge and discovered we got a 18 year old infantry troop stinking drunk. I heard it from my first sgt the wife. I’m not sure if I’m catching a company level or field grade article 15 over this vets ,Oh well we had a blast. And hey if you are old enough to serve well what is the issue.

I thought he wanted to stay in the NGuard. He would prob enlist on active duty and go straight to jump school. Jump school is easy now. 
Least he peed outside bro! He's house broken.
