There is only one friend of my dad’s left. He is 90, and all of his friends and family are now gone.

When the last of my aunts died, I told my brother, "We're next. We're the next tier." I don't know if he really comprehended that we just became the oldest in the family. It was an uncomfortable feeling for a little while, but that's the way it is.

who wll slip away. First to go was my good friends wife. I have another three who are not good medically. This is gonna suck big time..
