"Hands off Social Security"
This video was posted on another thread. Schumer receives a lot of criticism for his style, but he is saying exactly what we would want him to say in this press conference, IMHO. He pledges support from Democrats in the Senate and House and asks us all to communicate with our Republican senators and reps with the words, "Hands off Social Security." I just emailed mine, will send a postcard and call in the next week or so.

I also like it that he can remember 20 years ago when GWB tried to do the same thing. (Sometimes age is helpful for remembering what came before.) It was also a Republican-dominated House and Senate at the time.
