Another website this morning - "Things to do." Take a "silver" health test. You've seen it or done it.

Sit on a straight back chair, fold your arms and get up out of the chair as many times as you can in 30 seconds.

My chronological age is 83. My test was the expectation for a 60 year old. (14x). I have all my original body parts and have never stared at the ceiling of a hospital room.

All this is good. The problem? I will likely outlive my companion, friends and possibly, kids. I find it difficult to anticipate life without them.

I was in pretty good health until I contracted covid, and then long covid (I'm vaxxed, boosted, and social distancing is my superpower). Now I worry about who will take care of my cat after I die.
