I fell again Monday morning on the sidewalk

You may not want to look if you're squeamish.

I've been cleaning it with Hydrogen Peroxide and applying a 'triple anitbiotic ointment with a pain reliever ointment' included,
a generic similar to Bacitracin.

Finished the codeine pain pills and am now just using acetaminophen, and finished a week of an antibiotic.

It covers much of my right knee cap. The left knee wasn't anywhere near as bad. Guess I fell mostly on my right knee.
Teach me not to go out wearing shorts.

I see the doctor again Monday.

I've done same thing to my knees. Hydrogen peroxide and ointment should help. I also covered the bruise overnight as not irritate or get blood on sheets, but left it uncovered during daytime. Now I wear capris cause knees don't look the same after knee surgery. But walk so much better.

Alternatively, most any dog will do. Service dogs will just be a little quieter about it.
