Stimulus check question.

I can't find anything on this when I Google, so decided to ask here.

My stimulus check totaled a mere $644.80 and I have no clue why. I am not on SSDI, just regular SS and Medicare. I file taxes and had to pay last year. This year I got a refund My wonderful tax preparer filed my taxes online on April 15. The stimulus check went into my checking account on April 30.

Does anyone have any idea why I didn't get the entire $1,200? Could it be Spanky's revenge for all the nasty things I regularly call him?

Thanks for any help.

It was $619.50. I did receive a tax refund. I do not receive SS (I am on a pension under CSRS). I do receive Medicare. Horrible that the moronic monster’s name is on the check.

I plan to return it to the White House as so many people have done. Haven't quite decided on the exact message yet, but I do plan to call him a cheapskate and ask where the rest of the $1,200 is.

that they deducted what you owed last year? Have you tried contacting the IRS? Yeah, I know, that's almost impossible. Check with your tax preparer and see what they say, or if they can help. Good luck!

I'll get in touch with my tax preparer. She doesn't like Spanky either. Thanks.

and $150,000 for a couple. After that you only get a part. But you should look it up with google because I’m not sure about the phase-out part, since it doesn’t affect me.
