It's official, I am now a curmudgeon.

Yesterday I did something to the back of my left knee, maybe a hamstring strain or something worse. Anyway I am using a cane and have a brace on my knee to make it easier to walk. Just now I heard this commotion on my front porch. Two half grown dogs were raiding our cat Tony's food bowl.

I ran out yelling and waving my stick at them telling them to get out.

that my brain thinks I am still 30, and my body realizes that I am 64. My brain thinks my reflexes are as quick as they used to be so when I stumble, my dingbat brain thinks I can move my body fast enough to not fall. My body is winning this disagreement more and more often.

I didn't really know what an OT does. After she explained I realized I have been doing OT on myself ever since I passed 60, learning new skills to cope with stuff I used to do without thinking.

Doing that since my late teens since I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was nine. Am in my 60’s and even with all my arthritis meds, I have to be careful. I rarely go out since Covid because meds I take make me more vulnerable. Can’t wait to get the vaccine so I can go out a little more.

Do not bend the knee. Now it is OK straight and once I get past about 10 degrees.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, TEB, she has my prayers for recovery. I have a warm place in my heart for nurses. At least brother trumper is becoming a bit aware, too bad it had to be through Mom getting ill. Some people would still be in complete denial.

As to kids, none in my rural area any more.

Send me your application along with $25.00 in small unmarked bills and a self addressed stamped envelope, and if I deem you worthy, (which I probably won't) I will send you your certificate in the mail. Now, do I need to tell you what to do with your stick you old fart?

how are your knees? Having problems with them? Your "back of knee" problem may be attributed to a knee problem. Just talking from experience.

Additionally . . . sometimes it's fun playing the geezer card.
