African-American group: I was so proud of President Obama last night....

*************This is the African-American group************************

He really put it to the Republicans at times, and was eminently reasonable throughout. I loved the ad lib "I won both times".

The man is a CREDIT to our nation, and will be fondly remembered forever. He is the Jackie Robinson of presidential politics, always a class act and gets the job done as well as he can, with the racism and Republicans to fight every step of the way.

There is no way any human being with a functioning brain can say the man is not a good President. He has done his best under very difficult circumstances.

OK OK, I'll stop singing his praises now. The next two years will be brutal. We need to support him as well as we can.

As much as it pains me to say it; the time is soon coming when PBO will step down so it's important to cherish the time he's still in office...

will be kinder to him than current media has been. The man is the very definition of grace under pressure. He's been remarkably measured and thoughtful when more impetuous voices were screaming for blood, yet hasn't hesitated to project power when appropriate. He got us out of the cesspools of Iraq and Afghanistan; rescued the international banking system; taken the first steps towards a more rational health care system; and the private sector has flourished during his tenure (despite all the claims that he's a socialist).

He's always taken the high road when dealing with those who would humiliate and destroy him, yet he hasn't backed down from any challenge - he just quietly wins.
