Swarms of Cops with Guns Drawn, Raid Music Video Set, Unlawfully Cuff and Search Entire CastSan Francisco, CA — A video was submitted to the Free Thought Project Wednesday, which shows what life looks like when you live in a police state. San Francisco rap artist, Yung Lott was filming a music video at a public park in Bayview-Hunters Point, when their production was rudely and unlawfully brought to a halt. As the video begins rolling the group is quickly interrupted as swarms of SFPD officers surround the group and demand they all put their hands up and get on their knees. Cameraman, Brian Storm posted video of the raid on his Facebook page and it quickly began to go viral. http://thefreethoughtproject.com/swarms-cops-guns-drawn-raid-music-video-set-unlawfully-cuff-search-entire-cast/ http://www.vocativ.com/usa/justice-usa/watch-some-cops-raid-a-rap-music-video-set-cuff-and-search-actors/ http://blog.sfgate.com/stew/2015/03/13/video-san-francisco-cops-raid-rap-video-shoot-arrest-2/

1. WHAT the FUCK?!?!? So glad they go this on video and wtf???
This makes me sick. I am glad they all became so passive and so sorry they had to do so to avoid being killed. Did you post this in GD too?

3. Feel free to repost to GD.
Amazing to see it so clearly on video. In the most "liberal" city in the country.

5. yeah the police force is not liberal in liberal SF.
That became very evident during the occupy movement just how militarized our police had become and their complete disregard for civil rights or human treatment of the protesters. Everyday it seems humanity has lost its humanity.

6. I wonder what reason the police gave for their actions ...
For example, is there a law banning/restricting the use of public parks for commercial purposes? ... did they get a call about a problem? ... was the group unlawfully smoking weed in the park>
Something had to bring the cops out. ![]() |

7. Good question...
... but don't expect an answer. Seems they don't need a reason anymore.
Why bring riot police to peaceful protests, if not to get a rise out of someone? They're looking for trouble and bygod, they are going to find it. IMHO. ![]() |

8. Excellent question and point. What we know is this would not EVER happen to white people
We also know we wont see anybody arguing with me about that.
Yes, SFPD is very racist and can be homophobic, but mostly racist. I know this from a very close lawyer friend who lives there. |
