of a Black blogger yelling they "have no standing" to make the argument, right or otherwise. I couldn't get through it all, but got the sense it was because Bernie marched with Martin.

Who is this Sanders person and why should he have been mentioned in a piece about trying to contact the mayors office?

City to sell parcel to affordable housing developer 8-11-2015

Yeah, I've seen that scam before. Tiny number of low-income units, waiting list for a few years.

Mayor:
Look, we have a plan! Wait! You can't pay full market rate? What did you say? Hold on, you're breaking up. Oh, we must have a bad connection!

Please call us again at YUR-FCKD at OUR convenience. Thank you and have a nice life.

but they don't have to demean themselves by insulting large groups of people based on their race when it's racism that they're standing against to begin with right?

that's all I'm saying. be disruptive! challenge authority! but.. don't call out a race of people because you're angry about racism against you. 2 wrongs doesn't make a right does it?

What are you writing about?

It's an email to The Mayor of a town/city in America. What does the race of the mayor have to do with it?

at them. If you listen to the first part of her radio interview, you will get a sense of the hostility of the crowd. Someone even threw a water bottle at her.

B) Calling out the white power structure isn't racist. It's factual. There will be more of this (I hope.) Best to get used to it.

C) Marissa said also in her interview that if a person's reaction to their action wasn't their own feelings, then she wasn't talking about them. If your feelings about being called out for being white are all you are getting out of this, then you aren't really listening.

Today I've seen these women called subhuman, nazis, fascists, crazy, and all manner of interestingly loaded terms. But don't say "white people!" Or it's meltdown city and feathers get everywhere.

I'm genuine in my effort to seek understanding. I'm glad I asked my question. I got a good answer. it's still painting with a broad brush to insult that crowd and it would've helped if they had clarified then, rather than me getting clarification from people in an online forum.

If you have a chance to listen to the radio interview, they play the crowd noises in the lead up to the women speaking on stage, from the time they went up there.

&feature=youtu.be

It gave me anxiety and I wasn't even there, and I'm white.

The crowd was booing her as she was trying to speak, even as she was in tears talking about Micheal Brown.

Very, very ugly. I had to listen to it several times to pick up on vibe in that room.
