Has to be virtual as the meds I'm on don't mix well with alcohol. Ah the joys of not being ready to leave this mortal coil.

Now maybe for my next act I can get the hell out of Dodge (Texas).

Any and all suggestions that don't require mass quantities of cash appreciated.

Or should I stay here and fight? (Keep in mind that I'm old and tired....! ;-> )

Like the biopsy just whooshed it all out and the surgery (my first ever) was an afterthought.

I am really quite gobsmacked and grateful re the whole thing.

ETA that I have a mammogram every year.

I hope you had a great big scoop of ice cream after getting your results. Or have chocolate for dinner!

Treat yourself to a pedicure. You deserve it. Oh, and that massaging chair that kneed your neck and shoulders. Those are sooooo relaxing.

have access to healthcare, mammograms, etc.

It is my understanding Planned Parenthood arranges for funding for women to get mammograms when they are not able to afford it as the actual procedure is done off premises from PP.

This may be less of an issue now with ACA, not sure.

Even with all the progress in breast cancer cure/research, whatever it is called, I can imagine we would be even further along if men were affected at anywhere near the rate women are.

(As to the Texas reference, I saw you mention it in another post here, so assume that is correct that you live there)

Again, congratulations!

You're right, I'm very fortunate to have the access to health care that I do.

It's criminal what the Republicans are doing to PP, and women in general.
