7. Have become so incredibly bored with the Bernd Outs that I don't come here as much

And every time I do, I sit and read GDP and think, 'what in the natural FUCK is the point of continuously trashing Hillary Clinton at this point'? I can't possibly be the only one as COMPLETELY bored to tears by these idiotic people.

And then I read about Sanders supporters screaming "fuck you" to a crowd of Hillary supporters leaving a Hillary rally and at this point, I just think the best way to deal with these pouty simpletons is just to completely ignore them all. They have nothing to contribute but anger at this point and who wants to spend so much as a second of their time talking to people like that?

This forum has been one of only a handful of sanctuaries of sanity on this web site for a while.

I love having friends here. Like you say, it's a sanctuary of sanity. I keep coming back because it feels like a nice warm home.

You're not the only one with those observations. I view GDP like existential absurdist comedy. Nothing being accomplished. But some folks are so angry and love arguing all the same points that it can make me laugh. I'm just not always laughing WITH them.

I can't even muster outrage, for the most part. Every other major forum is poisoned. So fuck it. I leave them to stew in their own poison now.

This group is great. It is well moderated by the hosts, and as a result, still possible to have intelligent discussions here.

especially surprising a few at DU. I've seen some encouraging posts from nonPoC speaking the exact same things about this election season and more on intersectionalities and feelings.

It was so cool this weekend, having MSNBC running for a while, to see an Asian-American anchor discussing with an Asian-American Pew researcher about the unprecedented number of Asian-American Pacific Islander communities registering to vote.
