What a tough emotional cookie this young lady grew up to be. And many amputees all over the world will be able to wear better-fitted prosthetics thanks to her thinking "outside-the-box".

Survivor of genocide, survivor of cancer, amputee, black, woman, GENIUS. ...and English was probably not even her first language.

The other really wonderful thing is....

...she is just getting started.

In times such as now, it is people like her that give me hope.

I gotta say third one in looks like her...maybe? I just pulled that as a fav from the internet pics. I would love to see her dance if she comes to Boston. My sister buys season tickets...I have asked her to watch out for Misty coming here...I told her I had to go if she does.

Misty is awesome Geo!

She is the epitome of women rising! To have endured so much suffering herself and yet be such a selfless person is remarkable and inspiring.

Thank you for posting this, GeoWilliam.

So beautiful...all that she has gone through and her one thought is for others.

Wish more were as selfless.
