SO IT STARTS

I am sure there were AA soldiers among defenders of this little post. So I posted here. Drip, drip, drip. I have my hackles raising. We are headed toward another war, this one so trump, GOP minions and his despicable deplorable base of racists can declare a national emergency and try to remain in office for the rest of our-their lives. Just a theory.

Yet, we have been slaughtering each other like hogs since a weapon was put into human hands so I expect the worst from the GOP, trump and his despicable base of deplorables. Who will be in a frenzy over some false flag operation created by the people in this administration? Maybe a frenzy like americans got into after 9/11 only to find out the war started because of 9/11 was based on lies that destroyed thousands and thousands of Iraqi and american lives.

I still think it will be Asia where it begins and then the Middle East will explode.

My husband and I spent a bit of time talking about this on yesterday. He seems to have a bit more faith than I that pentagon top officials still have the power to retrain this president's worst instincts. I simply disagree with my pooh bear on this. I mean, he (tRump) IS getting his stupid parade, right?
To me, they've already been laying the ground work for whatever the messaging and delivery system of that message. They are undermining our political institutions, discrediting the press, setting up their own PR campaign through faux news, and not being challenged by a cowardly republican party that controls both chambers of congress. It would seem that we are already past the "if" and are now at the "when" stage.
Where it will begin? I haven't a clue, heaven05. Honestly, I pray that we are both wrong. I just got my husband back after a 13 month (and 8 day) deployment. We don't mind "Rogering Up" and doing what needs to be done. But serving under this clown......separating families, bigotry, "s-hole countries", making fun of folks with disabilities, "there are fine folks" amongst Nazis, disrespecting gold star families (I still fume thinking about what Mango Mussolini and Gen. Kelly did to Myeshia Johnson and Rep. Frederica Wilson) etc.......This is just a bit much.
You're absolutely right about his base.....it really doesn't matter what he does to them....as long as they feel that they are "winners and winning" again. They are going to support him no matter what. We need to remember that and stop trying to "understand them" and motivate our BASE instead. Then, WE need to get about supporting our democratic candidates and actually GOTV. That's the only way to change any of this. Honestly, I've no more time or consideration for Dolt45's base......... or anyone that would vote for someone with no resume or qualifications over someone with ALL the darn qualifications.
