Crockett and Mamdani - The Path Forward

Post in the Black American Group

Can someone explain to me how the same people who can't see a path forward for Rep Crockett - with her background, education, professional experience a tested as a member of the House of Representatives, were all in for Mamdani and are all in for Platner in Maine?

Mamdani is a Muslim and that demo makes about 10% in NYC.

In Texas, Black Americans make up about 13% of the population. Black women are 51% of that population.

Maine is . . . well - Maine.

I just need someone to explain why Crockett is perceived as 'lower' than Platner and Mamdani? Why? What's the difference?

And a black woman's voice is disregarded out of hand.

Rep. Crockett is my wife's hero, and she sends me clips and quotes from Ms. Crockett several times a week. My wife get's tepid responses when talking about Ms. Crockett to white friends, male or female.

You already know my opinion about why that is. Most people "know" that they are not racist, heavens no, but they never ponder just why their knees jerk the way they do.

BTW, Happy Holidays to you and yours, I hope all is well.

I have no faith that America will vote to save herself because hate is her only emotion. I ain’t talking about black folks. They are so good with the hate propaganda, folks voted to deport themselves. She is qualified to help get this country back on her feet but these folks would rather starve or drown before they vote for an angry black woman. Someone on DU misquoted her and these folks threw a fit and called her names. This is a supposed liberal site . I will end it before I step over an imaginary line.
