(100,740 posts)The only events that come close to that, that I have seen, in the west is Powow. Never seen an Indian parade! This is really cool. My mom's side of the family has Objiwa in the lineage but not enough to claim.

(4,241 posts)Did you watch until the end? They were on dozens of floats, they were marching, they were dancing, they were demonstrating artisan skills. Go look again.

(4,241 posts)It's almost too magnificent to be real. But it was still amazing.

(32,452 posts)They just don't happen often enough for me. But I'm very thankful that they happen at all. So inspirational!!!

(17,049 posts)Look at some of the other parade videos on this channel. I particularly like the one with unrestrained rhinos and lions leading a parade through LA.

In this video, at about 8:45 min, look at the woman holding up a bunch of feathers. When she lowers her arm, some of the feathers proceed floating down the street as if she were still holding them.
If this large, elaborate parade were real, seems like there would be news coverage of it, but I'm not seeing any.
On edit:
From the channel description of an earler version of this video posted on Youtube:
Epic Rides showcases parade trucks, convoys, and unique vehicle parades across the USA all created with AI, bringing stylized and cinematic parade moments to life.

(15,741 posts)It must be AI - the size and number and extensive ornamentation on the floats is absurd. There is no way they would put that many Eagle feathers on anything as massive as the Eagle float. The bird and the feathers are sacred. I guess a real parade wouldnt be impressive enough to make a splash on YouTube.

Is that a word???

(4,241 posts)Those floats were masterpieces! I've never seen such a magnificent parade. And to the person who said they saw no women represented, I don't know why you missed them! There were as many women as men!
