It's a Harry Bosch novel. I really like the Bosch character. So far so good!

When I forget, I go to to Fantastic Fiction. http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/

I now remember Shock Wave. I thoroughly enjoyed it. John Sandford is one of my favorites—I've read them all.

started sounding the same is David Balducci. Every one seemed to end up in some secret bunker in the mountains outside DC. But, picked up "The Forgotten" and it was great...totally different pace and setting.

I have been kind of hooked on Lee Childs lately or Michael Connelly. Usually just biding my time until a new Ken Follett book comes out. He is my absolute favorite

Who else do you like ?

We have read every single one. I like John D MacDonald, Randy Wayne White and the team of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.

My mother was crazy about David Balducci. I have only read one or two and it has been a while ago. I need to give him another try.

6. _Dead Harvest_ by Chris F. Holm

Main character is a collector--someone who goes and grabs the souls of evil-doers. His direct manager is Lilith...

He finds a soul that he thinks shouldn't be reaped--probably--and that taking it might precipitate end days instead of leading to his next assignment. This does not go over well with LOTS of folk, demon, angelic, and in-between.

Being kind of fun. Not really Dresden, not really Repairman Jack, but entertaining so far.

I ran across Holm this weekend at "Murder and Mayhem in Muskego", a pretty amazing one-day event (well, two, with the preceding evening's cocktail party). Check out the folks who showed this year at http://murdermayhemmuskego.com/authors/ . Sean Chercover was the only no-show.

Perhaps the most fun thing about it is that it is held in the public library itself--not one of the meeting rooms--so the Saturday business of the library goes on around it (and pulls folks in, too).

Listening: nothing right now. It's fantasy football season and I have enough trouble keeping up with podcast listening.

I finished it yesterday and now have a couple of cozy mysteries to relax with. The Book of Lost Things was very good - I recommend it to anyone who likes the fantasy genre.

Mystery. It's part of the Alex Delaware series, which I've always liked and this one is pretty darn good.

This month of November snowbird vacation in Myrtle Beach has allowed me to get back into reading and I must say I'm enjoying it quite a lot. I hope it continues when I get back home
