Looking for 2 SciFi books

One had "star lords" who fought great wars during which planets and galaxies went out of existence, of something like that.
The other had a kraken which was controlled by a miniature kraken token encased in a transparent substance- maybe a cube. It was quite small like on a key chain.

I read these years ago and I can't stand that I can't remember the titles or authors.

Perhaps.

The other, look up the Dray Prescott series by Kenneth Bulmer or E. E. Doc Smith which has a similar tale.

So maybe that's one

The A. Merit book doesn't ring a bell but I will see if I can locate it.

Thanks

I have been looking for some obscure books I read back in the '70s. There are a number of forums where you can post info about your books and hopefully someone will identify them for you. Here are a some of the forums:

https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/185-what-s-the-name-of-that-book

http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?31776-Lost-book-title (This one is for SciFi)

This one below is $4.00 per search, but if your title is found you can use that towards the cost of the used book:

Here's another one I was looking for earlier but couldn't find it has links to other search forums too:
