True Crime - Casey Anthony

I imagine it's a toss-up between the OJ trial and the Casey Anthony trial regarding which generated more air time, ink, etc. I don't think either case has generated any reasonably balanced or well-written books.

I'm about 100 pages into the book by Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez. The guy's not a particularly good writer, but I haven't put it down yet. The reviews on Amazon are as polarized as the American populace - half of the readers gave him 5 stars, half gave him 1.

Has anyone read a book about this case that isn't 100% for or against Anthony?

I followed the trial only tangentially and so am not particularly familiar with all the ins and outs, plot twists and personalities. I know she was acquitted, of course, and I think I know where Baez is going regarding responsibility for Caylee's death, but I'm not sure. So no spoilers, please.

That her father works as the safety coordinator for the electrical contractor that I work for. I've met him twice but didn't make the connection until someone told me who he was about two weeks ago. My boss is paying all his legal fees.
Baez thinks that he...
Oh wait, no spoilers, sorry.

Thanks for withholding the spoiler. Where it looks like Baez is going is that Caylee died accidentally by drowning, though I don't know yet who he thinks is responsible. The father was either responsible or helped cover it up and dispose of the body.

Caylee sounds like a nut, but I can't tell whether that's true nuttiness, faked nuttiness, or what.

on Dr. Phil, of all places, and that's basically what he said on the show.
It was a good interview.
