Legion of Superheroes and Legion Lost, which puts six legion members back in time and traps them there.

Adam Strange has not appeared yet.

Challengers of the Unknown gets a new limited run by Dan Didio and Jerry Ordway in the DC Universe Presents title after the current Deadman arc ends with issue 5.

Animal Man and Swamp Thing are simply amazing, and Batgirl is almost shockingly good.

but it's got my attention. From what I've read of what they've done with Superman, it's real interesting. I actually thought they should redo his story and have him be Superman in jeans and t-shirt a few years ago, since we're moving away from unrealistic ideas in comic book characters, so it's neat to see that they're doing that (even though they added the cape, which I wouldn't have done). I also like how Superman isn't supposed to be accepted right off, even looked at as a villain (I assume, from what I've read).

I don't like that they've put him in armor, though. Not unless they've weakened his powers to the point of being the original. I've actually had an idea stuck in my head, ever since seeing Captain America: The First Avenger, of putting Superman in a t-shirt and using a leather jacket type thing, with leather pants that cover his red boots to the ankle. The only reason you'd need the suit, being practical, is to withstand the stuff Superman goes through. Maybe that's the point of the armor, but I don't think you need to go that far. It seems to me that the armor would just rub the wrong way with those who distrust a god-like being putting himself in the position of being our "protector."

There have been a couple examples of his strength being pushed to it's limits. He gets knocked out at one point. Also he can't fly anymore, he just jump really high.

He really can't fly? I thought I saw one cover where he was. That really is awesome. And if he gets knocked out, does that mean he his skin can be pierced by weapons?

In the Superman titles, I think he might be able to fly, but I haven't read them yet. For some reason, I just can't imagine them being as good as Morrions's Action Comics.

a vestige of his people and their customs. While not necessary under the yellow sun of Earth it has a personal significance.

And the cape is the blanket he was swaddled in, or so I've read.

it was Kryptonian. That just makes it creepier, from a Lutherian standpoint.

And the cape is always his blanket. I think that's something they won't ever change.

Superman in Action is decent, the Superman title is rather bland, but in my experience most Superman titles are rather bland. I also get the three Batman titles, Batman, Batman in Detective and Batman Dark Knight, all three titles are above average. I also get Supergirl as well, her storyline is a lot more interesting so far, than Supermans.

I haven't started Superboy yet, but I ordered the back issues, and I plan on starting the Flash, mainly because both titles are crisscrossing into others. The Justice League of America is rather bland too, its a bunch of "x meeting so and so for the first time" stuff.

I've only read one of Nightwing and it is pretty good. Batwing is about an all new character. The story is set in fictional city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Batman has tasked Batwing to act as the guardian of that city.
