Arrow's biggest mistake/problem?

Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) should be Black Canary. The show is squandering her talent.

That name went to different women in the same family if I am not mistaken.

Thing is, they did squander her character the last few seasons.
Still, it is something to look forward to, her training in to becoming the Black Canary if it comes to that.

Didn't think she would keep the mantle of Black Canary as long as she has actually.
Her dying or becoming even more in to the League of Shadows makes sense to me, if only to serve as an impetus to making Laurel in to Black Canary.
