those little green aliens have big ears, kinda like me.
And I used to have a pet mouse - he was black and white and his name was Franklin D. Roosevelt, Frank for short... 
Franklin didn't do tricks, but he loved the wheel in his cage. However, later I also had a pet rat. I was a psych major in college and I saved my rat from Experimental Psych and brought him home. He learned to do what was required of him for the course and earned me a solid B in what was a pretty tough course - which pretty much depended on the learning ability of your rat.

Not for sure what hotlink is, you mean copy & paste or supplying someone with a link to the entire page? 
One thing you can try is copy something as you usually do, then open a new DU window and "start a discussion"
then post it in that window, then hit the green "preview" button at the bottom of the page and if the TOON shows
up the problem isn't with DU. I've been kicked off fakebook 3 times and my only sin was posting
anti-reQublican cartoons, granted there was lots of them, plus they make it difficult to "copy" something and
post it somewhere other than fakebook. Just remembered that will also work in reply windows like we're
typing in now.
