They didn't mention the Dating Game connection (unless I missed it, which I might have)

I used to hurry home from school to watch this show.
I think they had an open bar for the panel and host
I know they'd knock out several shows at a time in one sitting.

They did a weeks' worth of shows in one day. Two in the morning and three in the afternoon after lunch.
