When we were kids, my grandmother had a victrola in her barn (she used it as a garage, but it was originally a horse stable) which played the old Thomas Edison records. We knew how to operate it and "Barney Google" was a favorite!

Barney Google with the goo goo googly eyes!

My mom had a bunch of 78 records and I think another rpm that you don’t see any more. They were brittle and we used to use them like skeet and throw them up and shoot with a shotgun. I wonder if any of them would be valuable nowadays.
