My husband the Fed Ex driver used to hear this joke at least 3 times a week, every week, the ENTIRE 20 YEARS he worked there. The drivers all used to talk about how old it got, and how they always had to act like they'd never heard it before so the customer wouldn't get upset.
Really. If they tell you they'rve never heard it before, they're just being polite to the customer, unless they just started last week.
Editing to add, UPS is union. Fed Ex is not, and never will be. Right now Fed Ex is being run into the ground.
