I am in Norman, OK, at SoonerCon.

It is totally wonderful. I attend various other cons, and while I love them all, this one is amazing, and the friendliness of the people here is incredible.

And here's the very best part. Dr. Lonnie Johnson is one of the guests. He's an actual rocket scientist. Oh, and you'll love this. He's the inventor of the SuperSoaker. Yes, really.

Don't get me wrong. All of the cons I attend are wonderful, and the world of science fiction is a very friendly and welcoming place.

But this was really special. I will attend again.
