The judge in Will County gave Drew Peterson some credit because he had served in the military and as a police officer.

This conviction is for the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio.

2. He should get more time for his cop years

He was arrested and I believe indicted for crimes related to bribery while he was a cop, stealing drugs from busts, using his position and the help of his cop buddies to get out of domestic violence situations, and for harassing an ex girlfriend with bogus parking tickets. He was a crook his whole life, and he gets credit for that? I'm glad he's finally in prison but it surely took too long. And we still don't know what happened to Stacy, and he will never tell, I'm positive of that.
