Florida News Man arrested for South Florida crime spree while wearing ankle monitor

Miami-Dade, FL - A man's been arrested after police tracked the GPS ankle monitor he was court ordered to wear to tie him to 14 crimes that occured during a South Florida crime spree.
Miami-Dade Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Joshua Reed, who was out on bond for grand theft auto charges in Broward County and has a case pending in Palm Beach County.
According to police, Reed had a Broward County court's pre-trial release GPS ankle-worn bracelet on him when he was part of a crew's crime spree.
South Miami Police Department Sgt Fernando Bosch said that officers "were able to track this guy who is responsible for 14 cases."
