Anybody doing Camp Nanowrimo in June?

--I think last year was the first year. They are doing one session in June and another in August this year. Same concept, but having fun with the virtual summer camp theme...you have the option to be in a cabin with 4-5 other campers that you can interact with. Hurry--it starts today 
If you want to be in my cabin, there's an empty space. That's if you want to write literary or mainstream fiction, which is the preferred genre of my cabin. There are other cabins with writers in other genres or mixed genres. Anyway, just FYI.

For me, this is a much better time of year than November...which is why I've never done it til now.
Yeah I know, summer can be busy too. But there's something about the days feeling like they're longer. I know, it's a delusion...but delusions help sometimes.
Let us know how you're doing with it. Are you in a cabin?--I signed up for one but nobody talks. It seems to be four interesting people (judging by profiles) but so far they appear to be somewhat reclusive introverts. OK with me, but I wish they'd check in just a little...since they aren't opting out of the cabin thing, which is easy to do. I don't want to get over-involved with others (maybe that's their fear) but just want to have lite friendly sporadic support, nothing taxing. Maybe they're just shy.
Anyway let us know how it's going with you. I'm inspired that you have finished 3 times. I have written a lot of stuff in the past, but my pace of production is too slow. Hoping I can actually work all the way through one of my novel-length ideas. I have starts and plot outlines and character sketches...need to generate scenes & substance.

but nobody's talking right now. I was out of town on a day trip yesterday and didn't feel like saying howdy using my phone, so I'll post a message today and see if anyone answers. But yeah, NaNo people don't communicate very frequently as a rule, I've found, because they're busy writing their stories instead. We all want a sense of community, but the more time we spend chatting, the less time we're contributing to the 50K count!
My first two November completions were the first and second half of the novel an agent just made me an offer on (ooh pardon my sentence structure there). My third win was my second novel, but I ended up not liking it very much (I wasn't that fond of my main character--I thought she was a bit of a pill--and I think the first person POV might not have been the best choice), so that one's under the bed right now. I might drag it out sometime in the future, but right now I'm working on a story I like way better.
As for summer time constraints...well, that's what staying up till 2 a.m. is for, right? 
well done getting interest from an agent. 
It is such a competitive business. I have two friends who've had first novels published by major publishers so I know what a hard slog it is to get it that far.
Well I don't expect a whole lot of chat from the Nano group--just a little check in every once in a while.
Dunno it just gives me more momentum. But I certainly respect anyone who doesn't have time to write an extraneous word...many are trying to fit it in around a lot of other demands on their time.
