Respect the man's right to choose his name.

Not watching the game now so I have no idea what he did today but that's irrelevant.

If you change your name to some stupid crap you can't expect people to "respect" that. A guy can call himself Emperor Jingle Nuts that doesn't mean anyone else has to.

That's an extremely dangerous act. I say 25 games including all the playoffs. The playoffs won't be much of an issue for the Lakers now.

What good is he doing if he's violently attacking other players who aren't defending themselves. It is just a crazy, violent act. The league will survive without him.

I just hope it doesn't have the same negative effects on Harden. Coincidentally, both of the bad guys played for the Lakers.

I don't like where the press is going with this story. The article I read on ESPN last night was talking about 1 game bans "served this year" and stuff like that. That is way off.

All of the playoffs and twenty games next season sounds about right to me. Absolutely inexcusable. Magic Johnson was expressing his disgust yesterday for the goonish behavior of Laker players the last couple of years - this and Bynum decking someone last year. I agree with him.

If so I think he should sit it out (through the playoffs) for the season.

If there have been multiple violations then it's time to talk banning.

MWP was the guy who played Super Punch-Out with the fans in Detroit, and has served over 110 games worth of suspensions in his career to date.
