(20,776 posts)I have an autographed photo by him.. Even though he was never on any of my favorite teams, I really liked and respected him as a NFL player. I don't know if anyone ever told him to get help, if he was having problems..Football can take its toll, but this guy was a home town hero..and when his time in the NFL was over...I guess that is a difficult thing to walk away from. This was a shock to me...I know he inspired many future players to do their best.
