Derrick Rose’s surgery successful, could be 8 month rehab

For those of you who don’t have a calendar up in front of you, this would bring Rose back right around the first of the year, a couple months into the NBA season. Which is in time for him to build up his conditioning, shake off the rust and get right by the time the playoffs start.
