(9,709 posts)make the case because the Seahawks got hosed in the Super Bowl back in 2006, what happened on MNF was okay? I might be prone to agree with you had they been playing the Steelers. It would be similar to how the Pats had to wait until 2002 to see the refs get them even for the Sugar Bear Hamilton call. However, that's not the case here, and though it hurts me to say so, your efforts have fallen woefully short..
I was rooting for the Hawks, I can't stand the Packers, but even with the 9 sacks, the final score should have been 12-7. Monday night cannot be justified.

(10,129 posts)it`s kind of, well... entertaining to see the wailing and gnashing of teeth... everybody and their grandmother are whining about this call, many of them saying a lot of the exact same things that us Seattle fans were saying back in `06... only, back then, we were pretty universally told to suck it.

(41,692 posts)Let me rephrase that---Every Mother Fucker who has a fucking brain in their head and eyes that don't lie to them, knows that it was an interception.
Anyone--- and I mean anyone who says that Tate caught the ball for a touchdown are just fucking douchebag liars.
Nothing more, nothing less.

(10,129 posts)same old schtick...

(41,692 posts)Is yours?
since, as evidenced by your last Meta thread, you seem to have problems with reading for comprehension, maybe photographic evidence would help?
Now, allow me to borrow your usual eloquent wordsmith style, so that you may find it easier to understand:
Two fucking douchebag hands on the fucking ball, plus fucking two fucking feet on the fucking douchebag turf, in-fucking-bounds, equals fucking douchebag possession. Warrrgarbl!!

(41,692 posts)You do realize that you and a few other knuckleheads are the only ones on the planet making this case.
You do realize that 99.9 percent of the sports gurus on the planet call it a clear interception and one of the worst calls ever.
BUT---you will double down, triple down, and quadruple down with your 1 or two douchebags out there and go down with the douchebag ship of fools.
That's OK... enjoy the ride.

(10,129 posts)Fuck, dude.. I had to pay for my education... you`re getting it for free... look up "argument ad populum". If I have to spell it out for you, I`ll have to charge ya.

(41,692 posts)but I soon realized the level of your douchebaggery.
Seems you're still at it.

(10,129 posts)In time, once all the tantrums and whining have subsided, a handful of sports writers or analists with integrity will take another look at it, and determine that maybe, just maybe it wasn't the "omfg!! Worst call ever in the history of the universe!!!!" and the narrative will start to change. That's exactly what happened with SBXL.. About 80% of the dipshits in the country told us Hawks fans we were full of shit... But now, 6 years later, even Jerome Bettis would probably admit we were right.

(10,129 posts)Because I (along with all the Seahawks fans) was soooo dead wrong about SBXL... Oh, that's right... I wasn't. Rational analysis will always trump emotional reaction.

(10,129 posts)My ability to rationally and correctly analize the Super Bowl, despite my being a Seahawks fan should logically indicate that my ability to rationally analize this situation as well. If I had a track record of being wrong, one would expect me to be wrong yet again. But, I don't. Also, just because I know it'll make you happy:
2 hands on the ball + 2 feet in bounds = possession. Period.
