This year will mark 150 consecutive seasons between Cleveland's three teams with no title.

This year will mark 6 years since Cleveland's last appearance in a title game/series (which they got swept in). It would be one of THREE TITLE appearances (all of which were spectacular bombs), in 150 seasons, since 1964.

This year will mark 10 consecutive seasons between three teams where they've failed to even reach a playoff series/game. Barring amazing luck by the Cavs next year, I fail to see this streak ending any time soon, sorry.

The Browns are one of four teams NEVER to reach The Super Bowl. The Browns have only TWO playoff appearances since 1990. Their current head executive is now the butt of jokes BEFORE the season begins. THAT'S a first.

The Indians . . . are a belch in Basebusiness. Say what you want about the Jacobs brothers and John Hart, but at least those teams had talent while lacking one or two pitching aces. Now they're just another farm club for the large markets while not having a farm system that produces.

Are the Cavs the only hope? Will they build like OKC or become a draft-pick black hole like the 80s-90s L.A. Clippers?

Every Cleveland failure has a name associated with it.

None of the other teams in the top five are even three sports cities. Seattle used to be. NO current three sports city touches us in misery. COME on. There is no culture of winning here. These people can't draft for beans and when they have "The Can't Miss", they do everything in their power to screw it up . . . and then they go on to win rings in other cities that make better business decisions that Cleveland NEVER seems to make.

If THAT'S not misery, I don't know WHAT is.
