Tim Tebow is named Forbes' most influential athlete of 2013

May 6, 2013, 11:42 a.m.

Tim Tebow may not have won the Super Bowl, or any other pro sports championship. He hasn't won any Olympic medals either.

Heck, he doesn't even have a job.

Yet, the recently released backup quarterback for the New York Jets topped Forbes magazine's list of America's most influential athletes of 2013, which utilized surveys of U.S. fans by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research.

The athletes he beat out included three 2012 Olympic gold-medal winners (No. 2 Michael Phelps, No. 3 Usain Bolt, No. 7 Gabby Douglas), three Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks (No. 5 Peyton Manning, No. 6 Drew Brees, No. 8 Aaron Rodgers) and three athletes who have won titles in other pro sports (No. 4 Derek Jeter, No. 9 LeBron James, No. 10 David Beckham)....

Found her yesterday morning in the food bin where I feed and brought her to the vet's...her eyes were closed and she has a bad case of upper respiratory, so she's on antibiotics and I have to feed her every 2 hours...she eats well and has energy, so that's a good sign.

I have her at work in an empty office, trying to be discreet so I can hold her and socialize her (she purrs already) and she still needs help eating, so I can't keep running home for that!

They all started whining about Tebow being treated "unfairly" by the media after Jason Collins came out. Ugh.

ABC, NBC, CBS all hate Christians because they hate Tebow and his Christianity. I asked the person to please post when they said they hated Christians and/or Tebow. As a matter of fact, Tebow became popular because of the media!! It fits their little minded view of the world when they post things like this. If Christians are so persecuted, please tell me when and where. I must have missed that part of the country!!
