Kevin Durant donates $1 million to Red Cross for disaster relief

In a big time of need, Kevin Durant is once again coming through in the clutch for Oklahoma City.

Per the Red Cross, Durant has given a $1 million donation to the Oklahoma tornado disaster relief fund.I
Death numbers aren't certain but currently 24 people, including many children, lost their lives int he tornado that ravaged Moore, Oklahoma. An estimated 300 homes have been destroyed and early valuations have the damage totaling well into the billions of dollars.

Before this Durant was my favorite NBA player. Now he might be my favorite athelete period.

will donate to the relief (he's from Midwest City, OK) a whopping $1000 for every home run he hits (before the All-Star break). He's making $20 million this year. And he's hit only two homers so far this year.
